Details are emerging of the previously unknown identity of the Head of Australia’s super-secret spy agency, the Office of National Assessment (O.N.A.).

The O.N.A., which reports directly to the Prime Minister,  replaced the Official National And Nuclear Intelligence Spying Movement (O.N.A.N.I.S.M.)  at the end of the Cold War.

The O.N.A. is not under direct Parliamentary scrutiny, and after the raft of recent anti-terrorism legislation, its powers have been compared favourably to those of the Gestapo.

The identity of the head of this organization has always been confidential information, known only to a handful of people, and it is known that subtefuage, like disguises and  body-doubles, have been used in the past to prevent identification.

Elaborate measures, including having to fake his own death, were undertaken when the man agreed to accept the position. After acting on a tip  to the Australian Women’s Weekly and passed onto us, we believe that we can now identify Australia’s top spy.
